One of the most important things we do is keep abreast of the latest development in the web development space. We experiment, research, develop prototypes etc. on various ways to create software that adds value. These activities are to enhance our capabilities to provide the most efficient solutions to our customers.

As of now, the following are happening at our labs:

• A new way to organize knowledge. We are developing a base framework and building components for a workable version. We have tentatively named it as Varista Knowledge Management Tool (sounds boring, we know, but it will do for now is what we think.)
• Many ideas and components developed using Silverlight^TM. Microsoft's RIA development framework.
• Trials and test implementations of exciting open source systems in the areas of ERP, BPM, CRM and CMS.
