Key Responsibilities:
Own and look after our database set up. Both local as well as online and includes multiple databases and servers.
Work closely with .Net developers and write stored procedures
Work closely with project managers/requirement engineers/technical architects to come up with DB design for web applications
Provide solid guidance and support in all matters related to DB activities to the development team
Skill requirements:
Thorough knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005.
Should necessarily have a comfort level knowledge of .Net (C#/ASP.net) and web application development
Should have worked at least for 1 1/2 years as a specialist database administrator
Experienced in writing efficient stored procedures for web applications
Must have designed databases for web applications
Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 4 years of industry experience.
Have to be a very strong team player. This is a specialist role and hence needs strong project co-ordination skills.
